A partnership agreement has been established with the University of Applied Sciences “Lavoslav Ružička” in Vukovar (VEVU) in Vukovar, involving acting participation of the scientific and pedagogical staff from the faculty of management and business design. Among them were Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, Alla Sayun, and Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of the Department of Smart Economy, Olena Budiakova.

In 2023, the agreement for cooperation within the "Erasmus+" K1 project was extended. Currently, the selection process for students /stuff to study / teach at the partner university is in progress.

Cooperation has been established with the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS, Tallinn city) under the KA 171 program, involving the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Oleksandra Olshanska, Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, Olena Cherniavska, and other scientific and pedagogical staff of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

 

Currently, three students of specialty 075 Marketing of the Faculty of Management and Business Design (Kateryna Matsyuk, Nadiia Bulekhva, and Dmytro Morgulets) are successfully studying at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Mainor) under the "Erasmus+" K1 exchange program.

«Promoting of European skills and approaches for sustainable bioeconomy in the conditions of Ukrainian acute challenges» (PESAB)

The project aims to popularize knowledge of the European Union to develop sustainable bioeconomy in Ukraine.

Project objectives:

1. Promote the development of a sustainable bioeconomy in Ukraine in accordance with European principles and values during the war and post-war recovery.

2. Develop educational and methodological support for a sustainable bioeconomy module based on digital content.

3. Conduct training for teachers on the methodology of teaching sustainable bioeconomy as a tool for spreading European knowledge among Ukrainian universities and colleges.

4. Research activities in the field of sustainable bioeconomy and its further implementation in the educational process.

6. Develop cooperation between universities, enterprises, and local authorities to promote initiatives for the use of biological resources, processes, and systems to provide products and services in all sectors of the economy.

7. Disseminate knowledge about the EU and EU-Ukraine relations in the field of bioeconomy among the broad Ukrainian public.

8. Engage young people and experienced professionals in learning and researching European experiences in green growth and the reconstruction of Ukraine's economy in the post-war period.

Project implementation includes:

Teaching of three modules:

1.1. The European Union's Sustainable Bioeconomy Strategy;

1.2. Biomass Use in the EU and Ukraine;

1.3. Bioeconomy and Trade in the Context of International Relations between Ukraine and the EU;

Conducting short-term hybrid offline and online courses for pupils and students;

Organizing certified training for teachers on teaching methods for sustainable bioeconomy as a tool for spreading European knowledge among Ukrainian universities;

Organizing and conducting scientific conferences, roundtables, workshops, and scientific-practical seminars;

Conducting research in the field of sustainable bioeconomy based on an interdisciplinary approach.

The project implementation aims at transferring business knowledge from the EU to the youth of Eastern partner countries through virtual exchange technologies.

Currently, the VEHUB4YOU project consortium members are making concerted efforts to organize a network of international virtual business hubs and provide business education for pupils, college and university students of both economic and non-economic specialties.

This could be achieved by creating an International Network of Virtual Youth Business Hubs, encompassing 60 virtual international business hubs based in schools, universities, and rural libraries in Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was one of the initiators of the forum launching the "Twinning" program, together with the authorized British higher education company "Cormack Consultancy Group." The goal of the "Twinning" program is to facilitate cooperation between universities in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the USA based on the Twinning principle. Twinning projects are based on combining the experience of universities in the United Kingdom and the USA with the realities of Ukrainian universities to create long-term strategic alliances.

Within the framework of the Twinning project, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and Sheffield Hallam University Higher Educational Corporation, and negotiations are currently underway for further fruitful cooperation.
