On November 23, 2023, at the meeting of the one-time specialized academic council of the DF 6/2023 at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, the defense of the dissertation of Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Koval on the topic «Administrative and legal support of the reform of the bar of Ukraine» for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 08 «Law» took place in specialty 081 «Law».

This is a historic event for the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, as the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 08 «Law» with the specialty 081 «Law» was defended for the first time.

The dissertation of a graduate student of the Department of Private and Public Law of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Koval, is devoted to the definition of the theoretical and applied principles of administrative and legal support for the reform of the Ukrainian bar and the formation of directions for improvement in this area.

The members of the one-time specialized academic council noted that the dissertation of Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Koval meets the established requirements in terms of its relevance, degree of novelty, formulation, and method of solving the questions, theoretical and practical basis and validity of the results obtained.

The result of discussions and debates regarding the presented research was an open vote by the members of the one-time specialized scientific council. The decision was unanimous - to award Koval Oleksandr Anatoliyovych the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 08 «Law» with specialty 081 «Law».
