On 15 November 2023, an offsite meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Graphic Design, KNUTD, "Design, aesthetic and cultural aspects of graphics in modern design" was held on the topic "Design of Contemporary Art". The participants of the scientific club are higher education students under the educational and professional programs "Graphic Design" and "Design (by type)" of the bachelor's and master's levels.
The head of the club, Oleksandra Kolisnyk, Professor of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUTD, introduced the students to modern trends in art and graphic design on the platform of the Ukrainian Centre for Contemporary Art "White Light", at the group exhibition of contemporary artists "Yanovych's eleven".

The professor of the Department of Graphic Design drew the attention of the club members to the variety of techniques created and used by contemporary Ukrainian artists, such as Oleksii Malykh, Vlad Kryshovskyi, Oleh Denysenko, Petro Smetana, and other bright and talented participants of the exhibition, to convey their multidimensional perception of reality, creative non-standard solutions that allow enriching themselves with new views on reality, transform and expand the perception of reality, the boundaries of creative search, following challenges and needs of the time.
The participants shared their thoughts on the use of the latest techniques in contemporary painting, graphics, and further guidelines for the development of this important component of human socio-cultural life. The students also presented reports on the topic "The Space of Painting and Graphic Arts in the Demands of Today". The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. The results of the discussions can be used in the theoretical and practical research of the club members and in further student research on this topic.
