Students and teachers of the Applied Mechanics and Machines Department visited the III International Forum InnoTech 2017

April 7-9, the annual forum of innovative technologies in Ukraine InnoTech 2017 was held in Kiev. Within the framework of the event, new products of technical developments, modern robots, virtual reality devices, electric cars and master classes and much more were presented.

Students and teachers of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Machines were able to independently learn about the most promising areas of technology in the world. The site, which gathered more than 30 companies working in the field of innovative solutions, was able to please even the most fastidious visitor.

In the demozone, students saw the robot telepresence Max (IMSYS), robots in human growth Mario and Jivko, as well as a unique programmable Nao (Noosphere).

At the Fly Technologies stand, the latest models and developments of the world-famous DJI brand were presented. The company Drone.ua presented Copters, which are used for business.

In the demozone, visitors were able to get acquainted with additive technology thanks to the companies Revera Technology, Maker Lab, 3dSmart, SINT, 3DP, Monofilament. Both Ukrainian 3D printers and foreign ones were introduced, including the well-known Makerbot.

At the stand IoT Hub presented 13 different projects: a smart dumbbell, a smart house project, a biosensor, smart decoration, a gadget for posture control, a video game simulator and others. 

As for the virtual reality, it was also in abundance at the stands of the project ChernobylVR and the company Touch Me.

In addition, the partners of the department, the company "B-SHARKS" presented the training program "Robo" within the framework, which provides the opportunity to learn how to create and program robotic devices of varying complexity. The master class was also conducted by the students of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Machines.

Also at the stands of the company «Infocom Ltd», which closely cooperates with the Department of Applied Mechanics and Machines, new developments were presented - an unmanned combat ATV.

Students of the department and teachers could personally see the real process of working 3D-printers, test virtual reality glasses, communicate with robots and much more.
